OVERVIEW: Your final exam this year will take the form of a presentation project.  You will use the analytical skills you have learned throughout the year as well as your own creativity to address a social issue of your choice.

Below is an example of a finished project.
  • First, samples of the completed worksheets.
  • Then, partial creation of the conceptual artwork.
  • Next, a written script, using the info from the worksheets.  Time each section to make sure it fits the requirements.
  • Third, a completed presentation. I used Adobe Voice.

What is a social issue?

“We Greeks believe that a man who takes no part in public affairs is not merely lazy, but good for nothing.”
― Thucydides
A social issue refers to an issue that influences a considerable number of individuals within a society.  Chose one from the list below to address in your final project. The issues that have corresponding artwork on the Artworks tab have been highlighted in bold.  It is HIGHLY suggested you choose one of these issues.  If you would like to do an issue that is not listed below in bold you must get approval from your instructor.
