Mythological Movie Trailers
STEP 1: INDIVIDUALLY, you will read your assigned myth using the links below. Download the appropriate document to Notability or Google Drive - your choice.
STEP 2: You will then create an outline of your myth. You may use Google Drive or your composition book. Your outline should include a brief, bulleted description of all of the major action or plot development. Then using one color, highlight the ESSENTIAL points in the myth - these are the bits that simply CAN NOT be left out, they are CRUCIAL to the story making sense. Then using another color, highlight the bits that add "fluff" to the story - they aren't essential but they are funny, interesting, or might be fun to include in the trailer.
STEP 3: Once you have done this INDIVIDUALLY, you will meet as a group and concur on what should be considered an "essential point," or a "fluff piece." One member of the group should write or type these points out in two colors (or mediums); one for essential and one for fluff. This paper MUST be approved by Mrs. G.
STEP 4: Once approved has been obtained, you will be given a worksheet to help you plan, or storyboard, your trailer. This paper MUST ALSO be approved by Mrs. G.
STEP 5: You will then create a movie trailer promoting the "new film" of your myth that will be released. ALL group members must play an active role in the play.
